Lexi Perkins is a visual artist working in a variety of mixed media. She graduated from Rhodes College in 2016 with a BA in Art and Urban Studies. Her work includes an array of drawings, paintings, sculptures, murals, and jewelry pieces. She is inspired by human interactions, individual and group psychology, evolution, and extraterrestrial organisms. Her work is a vibrant display of humanoid creatures, interacting with one another in a technicolor dreamscape. Her flat works, and sculptures come together in her installation pieces, which encapsulate viewers in a fizzy world of bright colors, and bizarre, sometimes disturbing imagery. She hopes to surprise and delight viewers with a hefty dose of fun weirdness.
